Watch the sun sink into the Pacific as you dine on fresh, delicious - often organic - Mexican and international cuisine, sip the best margaritas of your life, laugh with friends new and old, and then admire the star-filled sky as you wander the path back to your suite to sink into a plush pillow-top bed, lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves breaking on the beach.

With a dedicated 1,850 square foot studio overlooking the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Sierra del la Laguna mountains to the north and east, Prana del Mar is the ideal place to host a yoga retreat.

Prana del Mar is well-positioned to access a wide variety of the surf breaks in the Los Cabos area. Because we are on the Pacific side, just outside of Cabo San Lucas, there is year-round surf in easy reach for a variety of different skill levels.

There are about a dozen established breaks within a one-hour radius of us, so it is only a matter of choosing which spot is best for the conditions and for your ability level.
To the north along the Pacific Coast, the best and most popular beach for a range of abilities is Los Cerritos, with its gentle slope and sandy bottom. A bit further up the coast is San Pedrito and then La Pastora - along with a few other breaks sprinkled in for good measure.

Heading to the Sea of Cortez side, you'll find Monuments - a fast and thrilling left - and then a handful of breaks in the Costa Azul area. For a surf safari, the East Cape offers several more good options if you'd like to make a full day out of it.

Note: Guests are responsible for their own transportation. We can arrange private car service for them, or they are welcome to rent a car or make their own transport arrangements.

The beauty and tranquility of the desert is apparent in our landscaping. We have areas dotted with palms, agave, cacti, ocotillo, and aloe as well as Zen-inspired gardens featuring compositions of stones, sand, and sculpture.

Feel free to nap in the hammocks or take a meditative stroll through our labyrinth or challenge a friend to a game of bocce ball or horseshoes.

You will also love our organic vegetable garden, where we grow fruit, vegetables, and herbs that our chefs pick daily to add the freshest touch to our meals.

A resort committed to environmental sustainability... the water that irrigates all of their gardens is reclaimed from each of our buildings and the soil is fertilized by our composting of organic material, so that nothing is wasted.
