The Goddess Garden is an adventure eco-resort and an intentional place for transformation. Located in Cahuita, Costa Rica.

We found this magic place right in the Rainforest, very close to the beautiful Caribbean Sea, the right environment to feel in touch with paradise and the essence of pure nature.

Our grandfather trees are the home of monkeys and sloths... iguanas, turtles, frogs, butterflies and hundreds of species of birds.

The Goddess Garden is located in the town of Cahuita, a small community in the south of Costa Rica, 40 km south of Puerto Limon. Cahuita National Park is the main attraction here, where you can watch White Faced Monkeys, Howler monkeys, Iguanas and more, just a few steps away from its white sand beach.

We are 20km away from Puerto Viejo, where you may find boutiques filled with local handycrafts, its black beach or the famous Salsa Brava and 5 minutes away, the white beach of Cocles, a surfer paradise. 10km further south you will enjoy the beautifull bay of Punta Uva and where the roads ends, starts Gandoca with the little fisher town of Manzanillo and its breath taking white beaches.

Cahuita's ethnic base is of Jamaican origin but you can find Italians, Germans, Swiss, and North-Americans. As a result of this melange, there is a great variety of good restaurants along the small unpaved streets of what seems more like a village than a town in the eye of a tourist.

Cahuita is a relaxing paradise some 43 km south of Puerto Limon. A stunning black sand beach town with warm calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling, Cahuita sits just south of the Cahuita National Park. Among the most visited national parks in Costa Rica, the Parque Nacional Cahuita offers tourists not just great beaches, but a lush coastal rainforest and some fabulous coral reef to explore and discover.

A fantastic place to relax away, Cahuita’s popularity is rapidly increasing as its neighboring town of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is fast becoming Costa Rica’s top party destination. Cahuita has plenty to offer in the way of spending some quiet tranquil time alone or with a loved one.

The beaches here are picture perfect with trails leading from here into a coastal forest nearby. Within walking distance of town, these beaches are an excellent place to chill out. For those who want to do some more touring, there is a well maintained butterfly garden nearby as well. The Mariposario de Cahuites is a great place to unwind amid brightly colored gorgeous butterflies.

For those who are interested in just spending their time at the beach, there is plenty to do out here. Snorkeling is at its best during the months of March to May and September to December. Best time to explore the spectacular underwater coral reef. A great place to go swimming is Playa Negra, which sits on the northwest end of Cahuita.
