Mindful Cooking & Sustainable Eating for Young Explorers

A hands-on 8-week enrichment program designed to introduce kids to cooking, cultural flavors, and sustainable food practices while reconnecting with history, nature, and the joy of food.

This experience helps children:

  • Develop their taste and appreciation for real food

  • Explore global flavors & cooking traditions

  • Enhance focus, creativity & self-awareness

  • Learn ecological practices & sustainability through food​

This program cultivates:

  • Emotional regulation through cooking 

  • Deep connection, self-confidence, and imagination while sitting in a family style meal 

  • Empathy for self, others, and world cultures 

  • A love for Earth, our farmers, natural foods

  • Importance of trying new foods and compassion

Each class includes:

  • Local, organic ingredients

  • Hands-on cooking + cultural exploration

  • Zero-waste tools + reusable kits

  • Coloring pages

  • Personalized mini chef certificate

Program Details:

8-week series (1x/week, 45–60 min per class)

Ages TK–3rd grade

Ideal for up to 10–12 students

Includes one copy of Tiny Chefs book per child 

Hosted at your school or location

💛 Program Rate:

$675 per session
$5,400 for full 8-session series (books included)

→ + $120 supply/prep fee per class (covers organic ingredients + reusable tools)

→ Discounts for back-to-back classes or multi-group bookings

Whether chopping herbs, slicing avocados, or rolling rice balls, this program helps children develop a deeper connection to the Earth and their own creative relationship with food.
